Summer Together! 2018

In addition to our year-round Clubs programme, which continues throughout the school holidays, we offer an enhanced summer programme of creative and showcase opportunities for Disabled people and their companions. Everything is FREE and all Disabled people are welcome.

Drawing of a poppySaturday 9 June 2018 1-4pm Join us for an afternoon of drawing, painting and flower collage at the Rose Garden in West Ham Park, celebrating Dr Fothergill’s botanical legacy. Bring your own materials or use ours. Light refreshments provided. At West Ham Park. Meet at the Upton Lane gate at 1pm or follow the event signage. Missed it? Our Friday morning Art Club will be returning to draw and paint in West Ham Park throughout the summer.

Tuesdays 31 July and 7, 14 and 21 August 2018 2-4pm Carnival Arts workshops with Paracarnival, combining dance, signed song and costume making on the theme of Pearly Kings and Queens, leading to participation in Hackney Carnival on Sunday 9 September 2018. August 2018 Street Art Development Day with Natural Diversions Our street art ensemble consists of performers from our associate company Act Up! Newham, along with Starpad DJs and Powerhouse women and individuals.
