The Together! 2012 Photographers and Filmmakers Club will not meet again until further notice. You can join in from home here.

Our Photographers and Filmmakers Club usually meets from 11am-1pm (arrive from 10.30am) on the second Monday of each month at St Bart’s Centre, 292b Barking Road, East Ham E6 3BA. Nearest station East Ham (not accessible, but there are direct buses from Canning Town station or Beckton DLR). Bus routes include: 5 and 115. Street parking for Blue Badge users only. NB: there is a Changing Places toilet close by at East Ham Leisure Centre. We learn filmmaking techniques and make films together, led by Together! 2012 Chair Julie Newman. In 2017-18 we worked on a tactile sound project in collaboration with Canadian artists, funded partly by the British Council. In 2019-20 we are making a short dramatic feature, The Auditions, about five singers struggling for stardom.

The Club is FREE and all disabled people and their companions are welcome. No experience is necessary, just a passion for the still and/or moving image. The Club also plays a leading role in documenting our work and programming our annual Together! Disability Film Festival.

For more information contact Julie Newman on 07702 627217 /  Further information is available on the main Clubs page.
