Photographers & Filmmakers Club

David Bobier from the Vibrafusion Lab in Ontario leading a tactile film workshop in July 2017

Our Photographers and Filmmakers Club meets from 11am-1pm (arrive from 10.30am) on the second Monday of each month at Vicarage Lane Community Centre, Govier Close, Stratford E15 4HW (see the Locations page for further details). We learn filmmaking techniques and make films together. In 2017-18 we worked on a tactile sound project in collaboration with Canadian artists, funded partly by the British Council. In 2019 we are making a short dramatic feature, The Auditions, about five singers struggling for stardom.

The Club is FREE and all disabled people and their companions are welcome. No experience is necessary, just a passion for the still and moving image. The Club also plays a leading role in documenting our work and programming our annual Film Festival.

We are currently seeking sponsors for our Clubs, which each require £500-£1000 p.a. to cover the running costs. You can make a donation to support our work by clicking the ‘Donate’ button at the bottom of this page, or email us on or call 07973 252751 for more information.

The Photographers and Filmmakers Club has received support from Arts Council England for its workshop programme.
