Wednesday 30 November 2016 until 23 February 2017 at Stratford Circus.

How far can one life-changing incident be seen in the artistic work you create? More than 15 artists, with one shared experience, highlight the different approaches used to produce works that are unguarded, emotive and informed by a truly unique vision.

studioSubmit to Love Studios is home to a collective of self-taught artists, all of whom have survived brain injuries caused through head trauma or illness. Some use this to influence their work, whilst others take inspiration from the world around them. Artists are encouraged to explore texture, colour and form through individual portfolios and large-scale group projects, encompassing the studios key principles of creativity, collaboration and communication.

The studio is based at Headway East London in Hackney, a local charity supporting people affected by brain injury. They offer specialist support and services to survivors and their family whilst also campaigning for greater public awareness.
