VIBE: The Art of Transatlantic Inclusion

Saturday 1 December 2018 2-5pm: ‘VIBE: The Art of Transatlantic Inclusion’ A simultaneous symposium and exhibition about Together! 2012 CIC’s two-year tactile sound project with Concordia University, Vibrafusion Lab Ontario and Disabled artists in East London and Montréal. Tactile sound speakers including tabards, benches, cushions and balls that have been created by the artists will be used with video screens to display the work created. Presentations from the partners and from UK and Canadian artists will be made over the internet and streamed live to the project website.

Disabled artists from East London and Montréal have been connecting together across the  Atlantic for the past two years to explore tactile sound and create digital artworks. Vibrations, the Art of Transatlantic Inclusion is funded by the British Council in Canada through its UK: Québec Connections fund.
