Together! 2021 Disability History Month Festival (11 Nov-9 Dec)

All events are Free; take place Online (by Zoom, with most events also live-streamed to YouTube and available at the top of this page); and include BSL interpretation and live captioning. Finding Solutions Together! Delivering inclusive festivals and outdoor events in the age of Covid-19. A free conference on Zoom for event organisers, Disability Arts workers and everyone who is interested in improving inclusion (event management students welcome). Hera presents ‘We ask these questions of everybody’, a digital opera reflecting the experiences of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claimants. The opera is followed by a discussion with some of the cast, chaired by our Artistic director Dr Ju Gosling. You can watch it again here until 9 December.  MUSIC / OPERA.


Sahera Khan presents No Words, No Safety, a new one-woman show about Deaf and Disabled women and community safety. The event includes a discussion where the audience can join in via Live Chat. In BSL with English interpretation and English captions. Watch it again here. DRAMA.
