Our Professional Development programme is aimed at professional/semi-professional and aspiring professional disabled artists. Carers who have faced career barriers because of their caring are also welcome.
We offer one-to-one guidance and mentoring sessions with artistic director Dr Ju Gosling aka ju90, usually taking place via Zoom (Ju cannot access voice-only calls). Topics include courses, qualifications including Arts Awards, work experience, CVs, portfolio development and funding applications, as well as Access to Work and other support and funding mechanisms.
We also offer occasional group activities. If you have ideas for group sessions that could be delivered by Zoom, please let us know.
Our Team currently includes two training posts: an intern; and an Assistant Artistic Director. Vacancies will usually be advertised in Arts Jobs and on the national apprenticeship portal.
Contact Ju Gosling on ju@together2012.org.uk for more information and to book a session.
The Professional Development Club is supported by Arts Council England and has previously received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.
