5-30 June 2017 9am-8pm (closed Sundays) Three Conversations exhibition at Forest Gate Library. Locally based disabled artists and Together! Professional Development Club members Whyspa, Lynda Evans and Lorraine Peacock presented their work. Private View: 6-8pm, 9 June 2017.
Friday 7 July 2017 7-9pm Together! Music Club at Vicarage Lane Community Centre with special guests Rom Shanty Crew. Rom Shanty Crew taught sea shanties to sing at the Carpenters Road Lock Festival in August.
11-14 July 2017 Signdance Collective International led participatory workshops for the Together! Dance Club, culminating in a performance at the Liberty Festival. At Vicarage Lane Community Centre.
Saturday 15 July 2017 1.30-6.30pm Together! 2012 CIC presented our annual showcase tent highlighting the talents of locally based disabled artists at the Liberty Festival in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Monday 17 July 2017 11am-1pm David Bobier from the Vibrafusion Lab in Ontario, Canada presented a workshop as part of our two-year international Vibrations project, funded by the British Council. At Vicarage Lane Community Centre.
Tuesday 25 July 2017 10am-1pm Canal Arts workshop at Vicarage Lane Community Centre. Followed by weekly Together! Art Club workshops on Tuesdays from 10am-12 noon, finishing on 22 August. The work created was presented at the Carpenters Road Lock Festival.
Friday 28 July 2017 Together! Clubs visited the Canal Museum. Meet at Vicarage Lane Community Centre from 10am.
Tuesdays 1-29 August 2-4pm + 5 September 10am-12pm. Carnival Arts workshops with ParaCarnival at Vicarage Lane Community Centre, leading up to Hackney One Love Carnival. Free. All welcome (but groups please contact us in advance).
Friday 4 August 7-8.30pm Together! Music Club at Vicarage Lane Community Centre. The Club practiced sea shanties to sing at the Carpenters Road Lock Festival on August Bank Holiday Monday.
Monday 7 August 2017 11am-1pm Together! artists visited the lower waterways and Cody Dock in preparation for the Carpenters Road Lock Festival.
Saturday 19 August 2017 11am-3pm Together! artists led creative activities at Richard House children’s hospice Summer Fest in Beckton, assisting more than 30 children and young people to personalise t-shirts.
Monday 21 August Together! artists visited Carpenters Road Lock in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in preparation for the Carpenters Road Lock Festival.
Bank Holiday Monday 28 August Together! 2012 CIC presented an exhibition, performance and participatory activity at Carpenters Road Lock Festival in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
10 September 2017 Together! 2012 CIC paraded in Hackney One Carnival with ParaCarnival.
