Duncan Bridgstock: Because I felt like it*

*Artist Jean Michel Basquiat’s response to an interviewer.

Collages (A4+) created with coloured paper and recycled packaging from the medication, teas, occasional snack bowls of cereal and box of chocolates and community newsletters that accompanied so many people’s lockdowns, quarantines and shielding. Produced in 2020-21 while participating in the Together! 2012 Art Club sessions online. Digital gallery assistance from Ju Gosling, Alison Marchant and Emily Welch.
