Vince Laws. Making Van Gogh Smile.

At the launch we opened three new exhibitions:

Painting Myself Happy by Vince Laws is a series of self-portraits in oils, and includes documentation of the making of Making Van Gogh Smile.

Duncan Bridgstock. Scream 2.

Because I felt like it by Duncan Bridgstock is a series of collages from recycled packaging from the medication, teas, occasional snack bowls of cereal and box of chocolates and community newsletters that accompanied so many people’s lockdowns, quarantines and shielding.

The annual Together! Open Exhibition showcases work by amateur, community, semi-professional and professional Disabled artists in the main London 2012 Host Borough of Newham, including work from community based arts groups. Artists are invited to submit one piece each, with automatic acceptance so long as it is family friendly.
