All of our events and activities take place online via Zoom and YouTube and are FREE. All events are led by Disabled artists, and our live events have English captions and British Sign Language interpretation. Events are recorded, and the recordings are later made available on this page to extend accessibility. You can find recordings and exhibition links from January – March events below.


Coming Up

Through the KaleidoscopeThursday 25 June 7-8pm: Through the Kaleidoscope. A free online Cabaret celebrating LGBTQI+ Pride Month, showcasing the musical and spoken word talents of emerging Disabled artists Lyd Arlo, Mel John, Eli Yim and Tolú Ajayi, compered by Marcy Rick. Book here.

July 2026. Together! 2026 Open Exhibition celebrating Disability Pride Month. All Disabled artists with links to Together! 2012 CIC events and activities and/or London Borough of Newham are invited to submit one self-selected work for guaranteed inclusion, subject to our Safer Spaces policy.

Recorded Thursday 26 March 7-8pm: Cripping the Queer Legacy – Tamm Reynolds on Katherine Araniello. Tamm Reynolds presents a new filmed performance for LGBT+ History Month responding to the late Katherine Araniello’s live art performance ‘Pity’. Followed by a Q&A with the audience. In association with Regard, the UK’s LGBTQI+ Disabled People’s Organisation (established 1989).

The Introduction includes a recording of our celebration and virtual tour on 12 March 2026.


Recorded Friday 6 February 2026 3-4pm: Self-portrait workshop with Nancy Willis. Nancy Willis is a London-based artist who has been exhibiting since the early 1980s. Nancy will present and discuss a selection of her self-portraits, followed by a Q&A session.


Recorded on Friday 30 January 2026 3-4pm: Self-portrait workshop with Ju Gosling aka ju90. As part of the Reflecting Ourselves self-portrait exhibition for International Women’s Month (see below), Ju presents and discusses the digital self-portraits she has taken from 1997 onwards, followed by a Q&A session with Alison Marchant.


Penny Pepper holding one of her booksHolocaust Memorial Day. Each year on 27 January we commemorate the 250,000 Disabled people who were murdered by the Nazis and explore the continuing legacy of eugenics today. Here we present a new piece of writing from author and poet Penny Pepper on the 2026 HMD theme of Bridging Generations: The Dark Door Opening.
