Some of these films have been made by young Disabled people, some films feature young Disabled actors in leading or co-leading roles, and some films fall into both categories. Disabled young people are also featured in our other programmes, highlighting the importance of young voices and representation, and the abundance of young talent out there. We urge all producers and directors, whether or not you are Disabled yourselves, to include Disabled young people in your future projects. All films are captioned, any additional accessibility features are noted in the programme.

This short film explores how Paul navigates the daunting auditioning process, and how he overcomes stress, sensory overload and self-doubt to strive towards his dream.

Unnerved by sinister noises and unexplainable occurrences, he desperately seeks advice from his neighbour Dylan. But Dylan has his own secrets to keep and appears suspiciously unwilling to talk. The visit of a priest to the flat reveals all, and Bradders learns that the supernatural isn’t always something to be afraid of.

When depression sinks in, her brother Emmett gets in her face trying to cheer her up and in doing so makes everything worse.
