Film stillBird Boy. Kathryn Matthews. UK. 2025. 2:45. F. DD. Bird Boy is the story of a young man with Down Syndrome who dreams of reaching great heights. Flying with his contemporaries without rigid constraints is a liberation for Bird Boy; freed from society’s straight lines and norms he can soar. Performed and with a score by Noah Matthews Matofsky.

Senses. Adrean Mangiardi, Mark Levin. US. 4:36. DD. Mark Levin’s poem “Senses” explores the idea that our perceptions and sensory experiences may not reflect reality as we believe. It questions the reliability of what we see, hear, and feel, suggesting that our understanding of the world is shaped by illusions or misconceptions. Through reflective and thought-provoking language, Levin challenges viewers to reconsider how they interpret their surroundings and the truth behind their senses.

The Search for Concentration. Danny Fain. USA. 2025. 6:20. DD. Film stillHorror. Shadowlight Artists. UK. 2024. 2:54. DDD. The Shadowlight Artists are an independent group of learning-disabled and autistic artists based in Oxfordshire. In creating this short colour experimental film with no dialogue, the group explored the scariest, spookiest and most horrific artworks from the last 500 years, drawing inspiration from artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Edvard Munch, Salvador Dalí, Caravaggio and Francisco Goya. The group then developed, performed, and shot their own scary, weird, or bloodcurdling vignettes, drawing inspiration from famous artists of the past. Released just before Halloween 2024, we hope you will enjoy this trip into terror!
